Global Warming has been affecting us in many ways from killing off our marine wildlife to melting glaciers in the Arctic. Besides the obvious environmental devastation, global warming is actually shifting the habitats of all life in the ocean. As of right now, the majority of the heat we produce is absorbed by the ocean.

With the warm areas of the ocean getting even warmer, the animals that originally inhabited those parts are being forced to relocate up north to colder water. This is heavily affecting commercial fisheries. As the fish move up north, they are forced to follow suit. Many are being shut down under the pressure.

If we continue at this same rate we could ultimately render safe zones for fisheries useless. Many commercial fisheries are having to conform to new regulations of new habitats and other protected areas that have not ever previously existed.
